 We run afterschool programs online and in schools in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx.  Our approach to teaching sewing allows kids to follow their interests to create simple sewn items of their own design while giving them skills that they can expand on. Small groups give children the opportunity to learn and develop skills at their own pace and ability, balancing concentrated activity with play. Specially-trained teachers instruct students to sew by hand and use sewing machines when available, supporting the kids in their own creative process.
