Our Fashion Arts Workshop is free!, but we do have some requirements:

We want to work with kids who are committed to learning and doing the work!  Your child is a super great kid (of course!) age 8-12, who can't wait to learn more about making their own clothes! You will need to commit to all 5 sessions as well as to sending us photos and videos of your child's process, unboxing images of the kits, making the garment, and participate and video tape the final fashion show.

If you agree to taking this journey with us, then please complete the following three steps:

1. Register for the course here: on our Learnworlds page, as this is where we will be hosting the live sessions.

2. Complete our online Registration Form here.

3. Then, please download our Appearance Consent Form(click to download), print, sign, and return it using a scanner, a clear smartphone picture, or by using the GeniusScan app to info@thecifa.org.  We will need all these things completed before we can get started!

Yay! You will receive confirmation from us and we will send you the kit and the next set of instructions! We can't wait!  If you haven't yet seen our YouTube channel, please visit it to see the video from our last season's show (as well as other tutorials...more to come!)

The Children's Institute of Fashion Arts
is a 501c3 charitable organization devoted to expansive education in the culture and craft of clothing to connect kids to themselves and their world.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to our cause as we build into a full-service, hands-on, children's institute in Manhattan's Garment District.
