Robert Tobey has over 30 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant.  Robert’s areas of technical expertise are partnerships, S corporations, and tax-exempt entities. Mr. Tobey was the Founder, Treasurer, and Director of Charlottesville Area Dental Access, Inc., a non-profit organization that provided dental care at no cost to qualified individuals, and the Founder of Charlottesville Humanitarian Relief Initiative, Inc., a program which arranged housing and financial assistance to Gulf Coast Region evacuees from 2005 to 2006. 


Mr. Tobey earned a BBA cum laude from the Haworth School of Business, Western Michigan University.  He was also an Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Virginia’s Darden

Graduate School of Business, Batten Institute and a Lecturer at the University of Virginia Law School’s Non-profit clinic.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
